Just then they hear Xane mumbling and Xiander sees he’s sleeping with Sam. Seeing them Vonruil says “Xiander, I don’t know if there’s a rule against humans and angels being together, but from what I’ve known about him in these few days, Sam is a great guy.”

rLooking at Sam, he has his arm held around Xane to make sure he doesn’t fall, Xinader says “Well, with him I can relax about Xane at least.”

rAs they are talking Peter gets up and seeing them says “Oh, I didn’t know you would get up so soon, I would have made breakfast earlier. Wait, I’ll bathe quickly and make breakfast for everyone soon.”

rSmiling Vonruil says “Take it easy.”

rXiander again sees Vonruil’s eyes are emotionless.

rAs the boys get up, Xiander goes over to Xane and says “Xane, just wait a moment, I’ll heat the water for you, then you can bathe, ok…”

rCutting Xiander’s sentence midway, Sam says “Xiander, till I say no heavy work. No heavy work. I’ll get the water ready.” Saying Sam goes to the Kitchen to get the water heated.

rSeeing Sam, and the boys Xiander is happy Vonruil is with them cause the more he sees Vonruil the more he is getting worried by seeing Vonruil being so emotionless.

rAs Peter comes out, Sam says “Xiander, please check the temperature, if it’s ok?”

rSmiling Xiander says “The same as you would use.”

rSam checks the temperature and goes to the bathroom with the water. Coming out he says “Xane, the water is near the bucket. You can mix as you like.”

rPeter comes over and hands Xane a towel and a new set of clothes, and says “These are Morris’s. You both look the same size, so wear these and I’ll wash your clothes then. Xiander, brother, you both also can change. Brother we bought you new clothes yesterday, and Xiander, we didn’t know, so you can wear Sam’s, you both are the same size.”

r“Is breakfast ready?” Morris says in a lost tone

rGetting up Peter says “Almost, just give me ten minutes, it will be ready.”

rThen as all of them take baths,Vonruil says “Xiander you’re the only one left. Go and take these clothes, they are Sam’s .”

rTaking the clothes Xiander goes to the bathroom. After taking a bath, Xiander picks the shirt up, and thinks about Sam then gets ready and comes out.

rAs he comes out Xane says “Wow, Xiander, you look amazing in human clothes. Sam, you like bright colors?”

r“Yes, they are the only thing bright in my life.” Seeing Sam with a sad look made Xiander feel uneasy as well.

rThen Peter calls out “Guys breakfast is ready. (As they all come to the table) Yesterday I made pancakes, brother didn’t say anything so today I also made pancakes and there’s eggs and toast also with orange juice.”

rAs they all sit down, Peter serves everyone.

rSeeing the eggs, Xane says “Ah, how are you to eat this thing?”

rSam picks up his plate and goes over to Xane and says “Morris, can you go to my place? (Agreeing Morris gets up and goes to Sam’s seat, Sam takes the place) Xane, look at me, this is how you cut an egg and eat it, ok?”

rSmiling Xane does as told and on eating makes a happy face.

rSeeing him happy Peter says “That’s satisfying, it means you like it like it.”

rSmiling Xane says “Yes, whatever it is, I never ate something so good! Can I have more?”

r“Eat all you want, I didn’t cook for show.” Peter says smiling

rAll along Xiander has been looking at Vonruil and the more he looks at Vonruil the more he’s worried then he looks at Sam and feels an ease at heart. As he takes a bite of the pancake, Xiander wonders what the future holds.

rThen Vonruil gets up and says “OK, I have to go to work, you both stay indoors as no one can know angels are here. Boys, take care of them.”

rSmiling Morris says “Don’t worry brother, your family is our family!”

rAs Vonruil leaves, Xane says “Where did vonruil go? What’s work?”

r“Xane, work is what we humans do to get money so we can buy food and pay the bills like the electricity, water and stuff like that. Oh, and speaking of humans, as long as you are here, you should call brother Jason, not Vonruil.”

r“Why? He’s Vonruil the warlord….” Cutting Xane’s sentence midway Morris says “Xane you saw what happened that night? Just cause we said we are his followers, they want us dead. If they want us dead, do you think they will let him live?”

r“Can I ask what’s the matter? He was banished, why? You humans hate him, when he saved you, why?” Xiander asks with a touch of hurt in his voice

r“Why he was banished, that we don’t know, but according to us the allies said wherever they are doing is told by Vonruil.” Morris says with a little sad tone “first we heard that Vonruil had betrayed the allies and they beat Rival. Then Ethor came with his army and took us all from our village. He took us to a place and separated the young from their parents. We all got separated from our families. We tried to escape from there. In escaping from there, Morris lost his father as he held the guards so we could escape. We are not the only ones, the allies have made it a living hell for everyone. And they always say it’s cause of brother and since he never came in the front, everyone began to believe what they were saying was correct so everyone now hates him. So, please don’t call his name, now for the humans he’s Jason and we call him brother. It’s for his safety.”

r“Meeting brother is like our fates are attached, and we have taken a promise from brother that he will let us help him. We will bring his dignity back…” Cutting Peter’s sentence midway Xiander says “Have you guys noticed his eyes…”

r“His eyes look like they have no emotion?” Peter says in a worried tone “Yeah we know, but after all that betrayal, and being abandoned by your love, who wouldn’t be emotionless.”

r“Wait, Xania isn’t Vonruil’s love as in love. His true love is someone else.” Xiander says making a point “She was chosen by the king for Vonruil as a political marriage, they both accepted that’s all, anyways now she’s marrying someone else. It's the best. If she can’t trust him, she doesn’t deserve him.”

r“Exactly! She doesn’t deserve him and if that’s the case, then love abandoning is not the reason for him being like that. Ok…” Cutting Sam’s sentence midway Xiander says “Wait, if you say he’s like that cause of the circumstances then Xania can be the cause. After all he did accept her and she didn’t believe him. She released a notification announcing her break-up, saying he is not worthy. Of course it affects him.”

r“But…I don’t think it’s so simple.” Morris says “I don’t know how to explain. Even though he does smile and laugh, it looks like his heart is empty. No matter what one goes through, he will laugh open heartedly if he finds the cause. He is happy with us, but it’s like his heart is not with him….”

r“Damn why didn’t I notice that?” Sam says in a stunned tone “When I checked the brothers heart beat and pulse rate, they were different from Xiander’s. Xiander’s is the same as us humans but brother’s is way slow. It’s like 20-30 beats every minute. I thought he was an angel, maybe their hearts beat slower, but Xiander’s is the same as us. He’s at 70 beats per minute”

r“In your human world is that good or bad?” Xiander asks, confused “Cause as an angel, it never occurred to me.”

r“Well, a healthy human heart rate is anything between 60-100 beats per minute. But brother’s is around 20-30 beats per minute. Considering he’s a warrior, a well-trained athlete can have 40 beats per minute, cause they have stronger hearts and when they are resting, they don’t have to use too much of their energy.” Explaining Sam says “Now I think it has nothing to do with the incidents, it’s something else. Don’t laugh at me but, I think it’s like he has lost his heart and is living on an artificial heart. But, then again even a human can’t last long on an artificial heart.”

r“Can you angels live without your heart like this?” Morris asks in a surprised tone

r“Well, for us angels, it’s the same, we can’t live without a heart, so he hasn’t lost it cause he’s still alive.” Xiander says “But yes, the same reason I got injured. Reverse of stone. Maybe he did it and it has damaged his heart….”

r“You can rule that out.” Sam says in a confirmed tone “From my examination, your heart is braised, but it's safe. Heart rate is normal. But, Brother, his heart is normal, but the low heart rate, should not be healthy, but he is. His wounds have nothing to do with his heart. They are all cause of blades.”

rSuddenly remembering Peter says “Hey, Xiander do you or Xane have any tattoos?”

r“Any what?” Xiander asks confused

r“Oh, wait, (Sam removes his phone out and shows some tattoo images) the images are not important as you put what you want. It can be your clan, name of an important person, favorite anime also.”

rSeeing Xiander seems lost, Peter says “The reason I’m asking is I saw a tattoo on brother’s wrist.”

r“Tattoo? What did it look like? Peter, can you show me?” Xiander asks in a curious tone

rPeter takes a paper and pen and draws the tattoo.

rSeeing the sign, Xiander is shocked and says “Morris, can you take Xane to the dinner table.”

rGetting up Morris says “Xane let’s go to the dinner table.”

r“Why? Everyone is here…” Getting up Peter says “Hey, Xane have you ever eaten a cake?”

r“Cake? What’s that?” Xane asks confused

r“Well, to know we have to go to the kitchen, it’s really tasty!”

rGetting up Xane says “Ok, let’s go!”

rAs Peter takes Xane away, Xiander says “Whatever his age, from his mind, he is small and best keep things away from him unless we can explain it clearly to him. Ok, this sign…(Xiander is quiet for a few seconds) belongs to Satan. Satan is…”

r“HELL.” The boys say in unison.

rMorris says “The one who takes your soul away. But what’s his connection with brother?”

rGetting worried Xiander says “That’s what we need to find out.”

r“So, got any plans?” Sam asks in a concerned manner

rTaking a sigh Xiander says “It’s best if Vonruil tells himself. He doesn’t like snooping. So, I guess the only way is to ask him about the tattoo. And, let’s hope he tells.”

r“If he doesn’t tell us,” Morris says, stating a point “Then it means it’s a serious matter.”

r“Xiander, is there a way to know if he’s possessed…”

rCutting Morris’s sentence midway Xiander says “He’s the duke of Artimits. He cannot be possessed. Even the Gods fear him, no one dares mess with him.”

r“Then…” Again Xiander cuts Morris’s sentence and says “That’s what we need to find out. So, when will he come?”

r“Before he used to come late, like midnight late,” Sam says “But since we have come, he comes around nine-ten.”

r“Hey, Xiander come and taste this cake thing, it’s so yummy!”

rSmiling Xiander says “Guys, thanks for taking care of Xane. Now with you all, I don’t have to worry about him.”

r“Xiander, from now on you and Xane are part of our family and that’s what a family does.” Morris says in a happy tone “Don’t worry.”

r“Yeah, and if you get together with Sam, then be it here or Artmitis, I will never be alone.” Xane says excitedly “Cause Sam will be with us!”

r“Xane, why don’t we decide what to make for lunch?....” cutting Peter’s sentence midway Xane says “Wow, you guys have so many things to eat!”

rA little stunned Peter says “Ah, Xane, lunch is the afternoon time we eat, I mean what should I make for eating?”

r“Oh, then back home we would have riteu, and …” Cutting Xane’s sentence midway Peter says “Xane, let’s go to the kitchen. I’ll show you what I have and what I can make, you tell me, I’ll make it!”

r“Sounds great!” Xane says excitedly.

rJust then Sam remembers the medicine stock is less and says “Morris, the medicine is less, and the wrapping bandage is also finished. Can you give the card, I’ll go and buy the stuff.”

r“Sam, it’s best you don’t go.” Morris states his point “Everyone knows you're a doctor. Seeing you buying, they will get suspicious. I’ll go and get it. I know the ones we bought last time. So don’t worry.”

r“If you want I can come with you.” Xiander offers to go along

rSmiling Morris says “That would be great, but your eyes? ”

r“What about them?” Xiander asks confused.
